The Grand Ballroom of the Sofitel, with a 20-foot-high window and a spectacular view was the venue for Rob and Andrea's wedding and reception last night.Marcia Hemphill and her staff from An Urban Affair coordinated all the events of the day. Kristine Semanic from The Brass String Chamber Ensemble provided the music and Brian Kinyon Photography was the photographer.
It was my first wedding at the Sofitel but I have another one coming up in January. The ballroom is stunning and the staff of the hotel were helpful and pleasant to work with. There were about 160 guests but the information on the website says the room will accommodate 270. As I was leaving the ballroom was being reset for the reception and it looked very classy.
